On an annual basis the Parks and Recrearion Commission reviews the Parks and Recreation related
portion of the City's Fees and Fee Policy. Staff typically makes recommendations as to whether the fees
and fee policy should be changed and also provides data to support the recommended changes. Fees are
often set based on trying to offset some of the opexating costs and also staying curxent with other similar
facilities in the market.
In November of 2014, the Coinmission made a recommendation to have staff ask the Rosemount Area
Hockey Association (RAHA) about when they would prefer to see ice rental rate increases. RAHA
responded by stating that they prefer seeing lowex houxly incxeases more often instead of less fxequent
laYger increases.
Staff asks that the Coininission Yeview the ice rate chart that is attached and make a xecommendarion
YegaYding oux 2015-2016 ice rates.
