BACKGROUND
The Metropolitan Council has prepared a Draft Water Resources Policy Plan and is accepting public
comments through March 20, 2015. Attached for City Council review and consideration is a draft
comment letter on the plan.
A copy of the plan is available online at www.metrocouncil.org/Wastewater-Water/Planning/2040-Water-
Resources-Policy-Plan.
SUMMARY
Following Council review of the draft comment letter, it is proposed to present a final comment letter at
the March 17, 2015 regular City Council meeting to authorize the execution and submittal of the letter.
