RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approval of the 2015-2016 officer appointments
ISSUE
Officer assignments are for a one year period and need to be re-appointed.
BACKGROUND
As Fire Chief, I have personally made contact with the officers to be appointed this year. We
have a strong group of officers on the Rosemount Fire Department and they continue to grow
in experience each year. In addition three new officers will be serving their first term this year
and they are Captain Tim Behrendt and Lieutenant's Ryan Kroells and Jim Olinger. All three
of them bring a lot of experience to each of their perspective positions.
SUMMARY
I recommend the appointment of the attached officer's list for the term of April 1, 2015 to
March 31, 2016.

Attached are the appointments for Fire Department officers, committee members and coordinator
positions effective April 1, 2015 thru March 31, 2016. There were a couple of changes from last
year as Captain Kevin Rambo and Lt. Bishop Svendahl both stepped down from their positions.
Replacing them will be newly appointed Captain Tim Behrendt, Lt. Jim Olinger, and Lt. Ryan
Kroells. Assistant Chief Jim Voelker and I collectively recommend that we move forward with
the following appointments.
