Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Regular Meeting of the
Utility Commission of the City of Rosemount was duly held on
June 12, 1978, at the City Hall.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Jensen
with all members present.
Motion by Hasbrouck to approve the minutes of the May 8, 1978
Regular Meeting as printed. Second by Jensen. Ayes were three.
Motion by Jones to pay

Don Brown introduced Jim Henry from Water Products Co who presented
information on remote readers for water meters. He also displayed
a remote reading meter set up.
Motion by Jensenito purchase fifty remote reading units to be
installed in new housing and also to be used as replacement units
and upon request of home owners if they are willing to pay the
cost of materials for installation. Second by Jones. Ayes were
three.
Don Brown presented the annual well inspection prepared by McCarthy
Well Co for review.
Don Brown presented cost estimates for a camper dump station.
Estimated cost of the installation is $270.00. The Utility Commission
will meet on the site to discuss location of the station prior to the
next regular meeting.

Don Brown presented a request for information regarding the Safe
Water Drinking Act and informed the Utility Commission that he
does not have this type of information and further it would
require some hours of research to glean this information. He
was instructed to reply to the request informing them that the
information is not available as we have not conducted this type
of survey.
Don Brown requested authorization to pursue a review of the
City's Fire Insurance Rating. He was instructed to do whatever
is necessary to accomplish the review.
Motion by Jensen to adjourn. Second by Jones. Ayes were three.
