ROitNOYNT, MINN.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Regular Meeting of the
Utility Commission of the City of Rosemount was duly held on
October 10, 1978, at the City Hall.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Jensen
with all members present.
Motion by Hasbrouck to approve the minutes of the September 11, 1978
Regular Meeting as printed. Second by Jensen. Ayes were three.

Don Brown reported that
he has made inquiries into a fire
insurance
rating review. He was
advised by
the Fire Rating Bureau-to
wait
until the new fire truck
has arrived before making the formal
request. The Utility Commission
concurred with this recommendation.
Don Brown asked for direction on the repair to the 145th Street
Storm Sewer.
Motion by Hasbrouck directing that a letter be sent to Corcoran
Hardware stating that the floor drain connection to the storm sewer
that was revealed when the line was televised will be removed and
redirected to the Sanitary Sewer. Second by Jones. Ayes were
three.

Motion by Jensen to recommend to the City Council that immediate
action be taken to repair the Storm Sewer in front of Wilroy's
where the televising showed the cracked pipe and steel culverts.
Second by Hasbrouck. Ayes were three.
Don Brown reported that he has withheld payment onthe water ram
sand blaster due to non delivery of new hoses as promised.
Don Brown reported that he will have someone from Water Products
here at the next regular meeting to discuss Cleaning Pigs for
water mains.
At the conclusion of the meeting President Jensen acknowledged
Commissioner Paul Jone's 18 year involvement with the Utility
Commission and expressed the City's appreciation for his
dedication. All present wished him well.
Motion by Jensen to adjourn. Second by Jones. Ayes were three.
