Joe Walsh was present to discuss the proposed radio system for the City.
His reason for being present was to ask the Utility Commission to decide
how much radio equipment they will be purchasing at this time and also
if the antenna could be placed on the water tower with the base unit
inside Wellhouse V.
The Utility Commission agreed to allow the placement of the base and
antenna at the Well #7 site if this is the best location for it. Further
discussion followed regarding the number of and what kinds of radios
are to be purchased with Utility Funds.
Motion by Hasbrouck to authorize purchase of two mobile radios for the
pickups and a proportionate share of the base unit out of Utility
Funds. Second by Westin. Ayes were three.

installed at the Utility Garage Location. Second by Westin,, Ayes

,sections, have been sealed and painted. There was a lot of sealer
left over from the garage painting project therefore he obtained
a quote of $250.00 from the painting contractor for painting Well
• house #3 and authorized this painting to be done. He further reported
that the Wellhouse has been sealed but it is now to cold to paint.
Completion of the painting may have to be delayed until spring unless
we have a few days of warm weather at this time.
Don Brown asked direction from the Utility Commisson on the last
house in the sewered area not hooked up. The Utility Commission
directed Don Brown and Doc Darling to research the ownership status
at this time and report back at the next regular meeting.
Don Brown reported that Well #6 is down again due to excessive vibration.
Keys Well Co has removed the motor and has reported they feel they have
found the trouble and will reinstall it as soon as possible.
Don Brown informed the Utility Commission that George Romo has completed
his probationary period and he requests that the Utility Commission
consider recommending to the City Council that George Romo be removed
from probationary status and given a $50.00 per month increase.
