President Jensen informed the Commission that the homes in the Lan -o -Ken
Addition are still bxperiencing sewer problems. He had invited Steve
Campbell of SEH, who was present, to discuss the feasibility of hooking
the Lan -o -Ken area to the City Sewer System through the Brockway Glass
sewer system and lift station. Steve Campbell had topos of the area
and informed the Commission that it looked as though it would be
feasible to approach the problem this way. The Secretary was instructed
to set up a meeting with Brockway Officials to include Steve Campbell,
Don Brown and Commission members available to attend, to present this
idea to them.
Don Brown reported that Well #3 had seized up again. The electric motor
was repaired and the pump is running again but he strongly recommended
that this well be scheduled for pulling and inspection to determine if
there is a problem in the pump.
Don Brown presented a letter from the Architects regarding the roof on
the old section of the Utility Garage. This letter indicated that a new
roof is needed but probably couldn't be repaired until next summer. Don
Brown asked the Commission if he could investigate temporary measures to
protect the walls of the building. The Commission concurred that a
temporary measure should be attempted with the idea that bids be let -early
next year for the complete repair needed.

ROSEMOUNT UTILITIES COMMISSION
ROGENOUNT. MINN. September 10, 1979
Don Brown reported that the Internation Pickup has not been sold as the
highest bidder did not indicate that they would pay what the Commission
felt they should have for the unit. He was instructed to keep the
truck for light duty use and possibly when winter sets in someone may
be willing to pay what the Commission feels is a fair price for the
unit.
Don Brawn noted that the representative from Dakota Electric hassnot
appeared at this meeting as promised and he recommended that no
discussion was required without their being in attendance.
Motion by Jensen to adjourn. Second by Westin. Ayes were three.
Respectfully submitted,
I
Don F. Darling, Secretary
