The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Jensen with Commissioner Hasbrouck absent. on by Westin to approve the minutes of the April 7, 1980 lar Meeting as printed. Second by Jensen. Pe op Joseph Kern 2-x.85iti ` Commissioner Hasbrouck aredt "7�5 ":p Motion by Westin to authorize the City Staff to provide the necessary information for comparison to Mr. Ostertag and should it be determined that connection to the City System is feasible, to work with Mr Oster - tag to determine service alignment and size prior to issuing the permit, further authori��zing the connection if requested. Second by Jensen. Ayes were three. Marianne Nichols of 14910 Damask Ave was present to discuss the sewer back up problem they experienced in March of 1980. Much discussion followed. Secretary was instructed to present this claim to the insurance company. A letter from LeRoy A. Olson regarding sewer back up problems during the same period discussed with Mrs. Nichols was presented to the Commi- ssion. BOX 455 ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA 55068 612. 423 -4411 U-1ilies Own"lissim May 12, 1980 Secretary presented a request from Central Telephone for a buried cable route along the south side of 145th Street from Cameo Ave east beyond the railroad tracks. They are requesting authorization to place the cable in the street. Don Brown is recommending placing the cable in the sidewalk area on the south side of 145th Street. This would require removal and replacement of the sidewalk along this route. It was noted that the curbing and sidewalks involved were formed and poured one unit. <_<::..
