Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Regular Meeting of the
Utility Commission of the City of Rosemount was duly held on
July 13, 1981, at the City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by President Walsh at 7:30 p.m.
with all members present.

Don $5bwn presented quotes for the sealing off of '

McCarthy Well: Time and Materials, approximately $1,200.00, plus
equipment and materials invoiced accordance with
contractors standard rate schedule.
Keys Well Drilling: $2,200 for Well # 4,plus or minus $2.00 per
foot for difference in depth of 400 feet.
$1,700 for Well #5,plus or minus $2.00 per
foot for difference in depth of 200 feet.
Motion by Walsh to accept the quote of Keys Well Drilling for the
sealing of the 2 wells and well house #4 for $3,900. plus or minus
as per quote. Second by Hasbrouck. Ayes were three.
President Walsh will attend the next Park and Recreation Committee
Meeting to discuss the possible transfer of Well House #4 to the
City of Rosemount for use by the Park and Recreation Department.

Hall.
The meeting was called to order by President Walsh at 7:37 p.m.,
7n74th Member Westin absent.
Don Brown reported that he had received one quote for the telemetering
of the Lift Stations and he has more quotes coming. This item was
then layed over to the next meeting.
Don Brown had to leave the meeting becasue of a water leak at Well
V.

City Engineer Norm Hendrickson presented an oral report on the
Water Quality Tests, indicating the levels of Iron, Manganese and
Hydrogen Sulfide on Wells # 3,6 & 7, and possible solutions.
Motion by Walsh that Short Elliott and Hendrickson Engineering
prepare a cost feasibility study to provide chlorination of the
Ipter system for the three wells we have. Second by Westin.
