REPORTS
Commissioners Eichten, Simmering, and Alex all attended the Leprechaun Days parade. They
handed out candy and walked along with our city's representatives. They all agreed that it was very
helpful and would participate in it next year.
Commissioners Eichten and Simmering attended Night to Unite with the Mayor and
councilmembers. They went to block parties around Rosemount and talked with citizens. The two
agreed they did not know the majority of people they talked with. The feedback received by the City
was that the senior citizens were especially impressed with the Youth Commissioners. Both Youth
Commissioners felt that they would like to also go to neighborhoods with more children. It was an
overall good experience.
The next meeting of the Youth Commission is scheduled for October 24, 2012 at 3:45p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, it was moved by Commissioner Eichten and seconded
by Neuens that the meeting be adjourned. The motion carried unanimously and the meeting was
adjourned at 4:51 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted,
