RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Appoint the following Youth Commissioners:

Andrew Saal
Megan Schalliol
Addie Westman
Deanna Wuellner

ISSUE
The City Council received 15 applications from youth members willing to serve as members on the Youth
Commissions. On Monday, April 13th, the City Council held a “Meet and Greet” for those applicants who
expressed interest in serving on the commission. The caliber of talent and enthusiasm of the applicants
who applied for the Commission is encouraging. Staff looks forward to working with this group of young
leaders.
Eight of the current youth commissioners have reapplied to serve on the commission. According to the
Commission bylaws, the term shall run between the May Annual meetings of each year. The
Commissioners may be reappointed.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends approval of the above-stated motion to appoint the commissioners.
