SPECIAL MEETING PROCEEDINGS
May 5, 2015
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Rosemount Port Authority was held
th
on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at City Hall, 2875 145 Street West,
Rosemount.
Chair Weisensel called the meeting to order with Commissioners Abdulahi, DeBettingnies, Droste,
Luing, Smith and Wolf attending. Staff present included Executive Director Johnson, Deputy
Director Lindquist, and Recording Secretary Harrington. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA
None.
Motion by Weisensel. Second by Wolf.
Motion to Adopt the Agenda.
Ayes: 7.
Nays: 0. Absent: None.
NEW BUSINESS
3.a. RCP Eco-Green Business Park Presentation
Deputy Director Lindquist provided a summary of the staff report and introduced Elise Maxwell,
Mark Foley, Joe Braman, Josh Sopeth, and Ryan Marty from the University of Minnesota.
The students from the University of Minnesota gave a presentation on the feasibility of an eco-green
business park within Rosemount including recommendations to encourage sustainability.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Port Authority and upon a motion by
Weisensel, second by Wolf, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
