ISSUE
Recently the City sent four representatives to the ICSC conference. We had 10 meetings set up beforehand
and dropped in on several companies at the Conference. Staff has started following up with the various
companies we met with and will continue to forward information about available land in the community
and also our City marketing brochure.
Staff wanted to schedule this item so team members would have an opportunity to brief the Port members
about their experiences at the conference and what information they learned. Members should discuss the
benefits of this opportunity and whether the City should plan, and budget, to attend in the future.
