SUMMARY
Carissa Slotterback, Director of Research Engagement and Mike Greco, Program Manager have been
invited to present at the City Council meeting the Resilient Communities Program-Partner Community
2014-15. Brent Hales, Senior Associate Dean who headed up one of the projects, Asset Based Community
Development will also be in attendance.
As the Council is aware, Rosemount was the selected partner for the last academic year to work with the
University of Minnesota on various projects suggested in our RCP application. In total 29 projects were
conducted by various students in a wide array of classes. At a luncheon on May 1, 2015 the Mayor was
presented with a plaque from the Carissa and Mike. We’ve asked them to come to a Council meeting to re-
present the plaque on camera and speak a bit about the Resilient Communities Program.
