RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the disposal and auction of a retired
Rosemount Fire grass rig that was recently replaced by a new one.
SUMMARY
The council is asked to consider the disposal of the 1993 Rosemount Fire grass rig that was
replaced this spring with a new grass rig. This fire department vehicle will be auctioned off
via MinnBid, an on line auction site.
As part of this process, several options were explored to determine the best mode of disposal
that would allow for the most lucrative return on the sale. MinnBid appears to be the best
route for the auctioning of this fire vehicle.
