ISSUE
At the last meeting, the Port Authority discussed pulling together a small work group to discuss small
business attraction in the community. One of the questions was what is the available lease space and open
land available for light industrial and business park businesses. The attachments provide information about
the primary areas for the light industrial/business park uses. There is additional heavy industrial land in the
northeast which for the most part, would not be attractive to the types of uses found in a business park.
Staff will review this information at the meeting in more detail.
