RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: Motion to Adopt a Resolution Canceling the September 15,
2015 Public Hearing for the 132nd Street & Utility Improvements Project, City Project 465
BACKGROUND:
At the August 18, 2015 regular Council meeting, the Council ordered the Public Improvement Hearing for
September 15, 2015. Since that time, the City has entered into an Assessment Agreement with Alfred
Hansen, the owner of the property located at 2925 132nd Street West. Mr. Hansen is the owner of the only
property which would potentially be assessed in this project thereby negating the need for the Public
Improvement Hearing on September 15, 2015.
SUMMARY:
Staff recommends Council adoption of the attached resolution cancelling the Public Improvement
Hearing scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on September 15, 2015 relating to the 132nd Street & Utility Improvement
Project, City Project 465.

CANCELLING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING
132nd STREET & UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 465
WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, City Council ordered a Public Hearing on Improvements to be
held on September 15, 2015 regarding the construction of certain improvements, to-wit: City
Project 465, 132nd Street & Utility Improvements Project, in the City as described in and in
accordance with the feasibility report prepared by the City Engineer;
WHEREAS, since that time the City has entered into an Assessment Agreement with Alfred
Hansen, the owner of the property at 2925 132nd Street West regarding these improvements. Mr.
Hanson is the owner of the only property which would potentially be assessed in this project thereby
negating the need for the Public Hearing on September 15, 2015.
NOW THEREFORE IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Rosemount that the public hearing be scheduled for 7:00 a.m. on September 15, 2015 be cancelled.
ADOPTED this 1st day of September, 2015.
