RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve Change Order #3 for the items listed in the
executive summary and to increase the Steeple Center project contract by $10,993.92.
ISSUE
Progress on the new Steeple Center addition continues to move forward. There are several small changes
that have been required. The changes have been identified in the list below and also on the attached
change order request submitted by the City’s architect, Kass Wilson.

Brick Corner at Steeple Center $835.52
Stairwell Access Panel $374.08
Can Lights $890.40
Exit Signs and Fire Alarm $1,702.40
Elevator Louver Switch $392.00
New Infill brick to Match Existing $1,842.40
Baseboard Heater 4’ section $1,098.72
Add power for portable kiln $722.40
Add water filter to ice machine $3,136.00
Total $10,993.92
Staff has reviewed the change order requests and feels that all of the changes to the project are necessary
and will leave us with a better facility.
SUMMARY
Staff is recommending that the City Council approve Change Order #3 with the additional items listed in
the executive summary, increasing the project contract by $10,993.92.
