RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve Change Order 1 for East Side Water Tower
Improvement Project, Engineering Project 0173
BACKGROUND
It is necessary to replace the pipe style safety climb device as part of the East Side Water Tower
Improvement Project. This item was inadvertently omitted from the original bid. A copy of Change
Order No. 1 is attached.
These contract changes result in a net increase of $800 to the current contract amount of $234,800 for a
new total of $235,600.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends Council approval of Change Order 1 for the East Side Water Tower Improvements
Project, Engineering Project 0173.
