RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Authorize the Execution of an Agreement for a
Temporary Drainage, Utility, and Turnaround Easement for the Greystone 4th Addition
Street and Utility Improvements, City Project 462
BACKGROUND:
A temporary easement is needed for access, construction, and maintenance for temporary cul-de-sac at the
end of Addison Avenue within Greystone 4th Addition. The City attorney has reviewed the attached
Agreement for a Temporary Drainage, Utility and Turnaround Easement which will terminate when the
property is connected by a fully completed public street with the adjoining development. As part of the
agreement, the land owners will be paid a sum of $2,500 by the Developer for the temporary easement on
their property. This easement covers 10,000 square feet of their property as illustrated on the attached
Parcel Sketch.
SUMMARY:
Staff recommends that Council authorize the execution of the temporary easement for the Greystone 4th
Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project 462.
