BACKGROUND
The Rosemount Beyond the Yellow Ribbon committee plans to update the Council on its activities over
the past year and outline new initiatives for 2016. The committee is part of a network of similar
committees throughout the state and works in a variety of ways to support military families and veterans in
the area.
Karl Xavier III is the chair of the committee which consists of a number of Rosemount residents. The
City Council voted to co-sponsor the committee in 2010 and it became officially recognized by the State in
2011. They generally meet on the first Monday of each month at City Hall.
