Park Improvement Fund Balance as of December 31, 2015: $411,098.15 Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund last month were as follows: Dedication fees—$3,400 Gxants/Other- $0 Interest- $44.54 Donations - $0 Expenditures - $32,480.08 (Ailesbury Park Impxovements) A.ging Mastery Program Grant Awarded—Rosemount Parks &Recreation in conjunction with the Rambling Rivex Centex in Farmuigton have been awarded a gxant fxom the National Council on Aging to host the Aging Mastery Program (AMP). This is a comprehensive and fun approach to aging well that encoutages people to take actions to enhance their health, financial well-being, socia.l connectedness, and overall quality of life. Central to the AMP philosophy is the belief that modest lifestyle changes can produce big xesults and that people can be empowered and supported to cultivate health and longevity. Equally important, the program encourages mastery—developing sustainable behaviors ovex time. Participants in AMP go thxough a 10-week core pYogxam followed by optional elective classes and activities. Our two agencies will be jointly offering multiple sessions of this program over the next 18 months. Steeple Center Opening-The Steeple Center officially re-opened on Monday,January 4�', and senior programs and activities have been moved to their new location. In addition to oux e�cisting participants, this week has seen many new people stop in to see the beauriful new facility. We anticipate it being a very busy place in the near future!The City will be hosting a Steeple Center Ribbon Cutting and Open House on Monday, February 1, at 5:00 pm.
