ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: ddj RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve creation of two new Task Forces; Environmental/Sustainability and City Facilities, and to publicize application for participants. SUMMARY During Council Goal Setting in January, it was suggested that the City create two new task forces to address city issues. The first would address up to three environmental or sustainability issues. The second would address non-park and recreation municipal facilities; City Hall, Police, and Public Works. Further details of these task forces will need to be determined.. The draft press release for the Task Force and Commissioner application process will be available Monday evening It is proposed that we recruit for these task forces as a part of the open application period for City Commissions. RECOMMENDATION Approve creation of two new Task Forces; Environmental/Sustainability and City Facilities, and to publicize application for participants.
