Lennar is administering the contract privately. Base course paving is complete. Sidewalks and wear course paving will be completed in summer 2016. 469 Bella Vista 4th N/A N/A PRIVATE N/A PRIVATE This development includes 15 single-family homes by developer U.S. Home Corporation (Lennar). Lennar is administering the contract privately. Construction is expected to begin in April. WSB & Associates, Inc. is the engineering consultant for the design and construction administration of the tank and booster station. 1 .5MG Ground Due to a significant increase in the overall cost estimate for the project ($4.14 million vs. $6.03 million), the plans and specs have been ENG-179 Storage Tank 09/01/15 N/A 12/15/15 02/05/16 N/A reviewed by an alternate engineering firm. Bids were opened February 5, 2016 but the award of the contract is on hold pending the result of the peer review. The project includes installing a new sidewalk along the north side of 144th Street from Chili Ave to Cameo Ave, installing a trail on the Safe Routes to Shannon Park Elementary property connecting the school with Shannon Parkway, and installing an enhanced pedestrian crosswalk at ENG-180 10/20/15 04/05/16 June 2016 Evermore Parkway and Creggs Cir. WSB & Associates, Inc. is the engineering consultant for the design and construction School administration. The project is being funded with a combination of Federal and Local funds. All temporary and permanent easements have been secured for the project. Construction is anticipated to begin in June 2016. Bids were opened September 29, 2015 and a contact was to be awarded October 6, 2015. The low bidder, Keys Well Drilling, was the original contractor for Well 5 construction in 1963. The contractor produced construction records for Well 5 that have complicated the Wells 4 & 5 sealing project. Further investigation with the MDH has resulted in the need for adjustments in the abandonment method for Well 5; ENG-181 Sealing, New N/A 09/01/15 09/29/15 11/17/15 On Hold N/A Keys Well g $39,250 $30,875 79% therefore, the contract has been awarded for Well 4 only, with a plan to seal Well 4 or convert it to an observation well, if possible. A Observation Well Drilling separate contract will be awarded in the future to seal Well 5, and to construct a new observation well if Well 4 is not able to be converted with the original contract. The cleaning out of Well 4 is complete. The MDH will televise and inspect the well in the next few weeks to determine the next course of action. Short Elliot An RFP was distributed to three engineering fiirms to conduct a utility study for the area of Rosemount east of US52. SEH is the ENG-183 East Side Utility N/A N/A N/A 11/12/15 N/A 11/23/15 N/A and $35,505 selected engineering consultant for the study' The study is necessaryin order to provide adequate service fora possible large Hendrickson (SEH) industrial site development, and to use the opportunity to prepare trunk utility facilities for additional future development.
