Park Improvement Fund Balance as of May 31, 2016: $445,349.08
Inflows to the Park Improvement Fund la.st month were as follows:

Expenditures - $ 1,338.00 (design fees for Greystone Park and Ailesbury Park improvements)
City Clean Up Event-The City of Rosemount's annual Spring Clean-up was held on Saturday,May 21,
at Dakota County Technical College. The weather was perfect and we had a good turnout. We serviced
367 vehicles at the event. This is 30 more than last year, and the most vehicles coming through one of our
clean-up events since 2008 when the recession began.
Running Series -The 2016 SORR Ground Pounder Running Series kicked off on Saturda.p,June 4 with a
5-K hosted by the City of Burnsville. Runners,walkers,kids and everyone else can get in on the fun! A
variety of lengths, scenery,prizes and events offer a chance for everyone to get involved. Earn points for
each city's event you participate in and do a m;nimum of 3 out of the 7 events listed below to be eligible
for overall awaxd prize drawings. Overall prizes awarded in August after all points have been ta.bulated.
The remaining run schedule is:
Apple Valley Fun Run—Monday,July 4
Lakeville Pan-O-Prog Run—Saturday,July 9
Rosemount Run for the Gold—Saturda.y,July 23
Runner's Gate 5K Trail Run—Tuesday,July 26
Ailesbury Park-Work on Ailesbury Park (formerly Prestwick Park) is close to being complete. The
substantial completion date for the project was June 15.While there a,Ye still some punch list items to
complete, the bulk of the work is done. The entire park has been seeded,the picnic shelter has been
constructed, trails have been installed,the baseball field is complete,the trees have been pla,nted and the
basketball court has been color coated.
