Working with volunteers is a major part of the Parks & Recreation
Department. One of the finest workshops available dealing with
this aspect of our programing is the Multi - State
Community Education Convention sponsored by the State Department
of Education.
Lisa Jost, the Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation has
been scheduled each of the past years to attend this convention.
The program is held at Maddens Lodge in Brainerd, Minnesota. Costs
of the program are:
Room -'and meals for three days - $ 310.00
Registration & Materials - 115.00
Total- $ 425.00
Funds are to come from account # 101 - 45100 - 01 - 437 for
seminars.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Move to approve Lisa Jost to attend the Multi - State Community
Education Convention and to approve the expenditures up to
