RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Continue Public Hearing for Vacation of Easement

SUMMARY
This item was scheduled in anticipation of the City Council taking action on the Prestwick final plat along
th
with the Preliminary Plat, Prestwick Place 13 Addition, found on the current council agenda. However,
the applicant has decided to substantially revise the final plat and therefore the item must go back to the
Planning Commission for review and approval. The final plat is scheduled for the August 23, 2016
Planning Commission meeting. The motion to continue the item would align the vacation easement action
on the same schedule as the final plat action. Because the vacation was published and adjacent property
owners notified, staff recommends formally approving a continuation of the public hearing to September
6, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends City Councilopen the public hearing and subsequently continue the public hearing until
