ATTACHMENTS: Map, Presentation APPROVED BY: ddj RECOMMENDED ACTION: No action needed – informational purposes only BACKGROUND: Jenna Fabish from Dakota County will provide a brief update on the Mississippi River Regional Trail (MRRT) project. The portion of the MRRT currently under construction in 2016 extends through the Dakota County Spring Lake Park Preserve, from the Archery Trailhead to the Schaar’s Bluff Trailhead as shown on the attached map. The future construction in Rosemount will be done in two phases, with construction completed by 2018. An open house for the project is scheduled for September 15, 2016 at Camp Spring Lake Retreat Center from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. More information will be provided at the Council Meeting.
