Administrator Recruitment Process

At the August 16City Council meeting, the City Council accepted the proposal and authorized the
selection of the search firm Brimeyer Fursman (also known as Hue Life) to conduct the City
Administrator executive search.
This evening, Mr. Richard Fursman will give an update to the City Council on the process and will
present the draft position profile. (Pictures and formatting will be improved from the version sent out
in packet.) He will be discussing the time line, expectations and answering questions about the process.
Pending approval of the position profile at this evening’s meeting; it will be posted/advertised within
the next few days after the Council meeting.
SUMMARY
Staff requests approval of the position profile content as discussed this evening for the City
Administrator recruitment process.

Out of Town Candidates: The City will reimburse
usual and customary travel related expenses for out
of town candidates coming to Rosemount for inter-
views. Candidates will also be provided lodging if
needed/desired.
