HomeMy WebLinkAbout20160801 CCM RMROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS AUGUST 1ST, 2016 CALL TO ORDER Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held on Monday, August 1st, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount. Mayor Droste called the meeting to order with Council Members DeBettignies, Nelson, Weisensel and Demuth attending. Staff present included the following; o City Administrator Johnson o o Director of Public Works/City Engineer Morast o City Clerk Hadler o Chief of Police Scott o Parks and Recreation Director Schultz o Assistant City Administrator Foster The Pledge of Allegiance was said. ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA City Administrator Johnson stated there were no changes to the agenda. Motion by Weisensel. Second by DeBettignies. Motion to Adopt the Agenda. Ayes: DeBettignies, Nelson, Droste, Weisensel, Demuth Nays: 0. Motion carried. PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS, & ACKNOWLEDGMENTS PUBLIC COMMENT CONSENT AGENDA Motion by DeBettignies. Second by Demuth. Motion to Approve the Consent Agenda. a. Minutes of the July 19th, 2016 Regular Meeting Proceedings b. Bills Listing c. Expenditure Approval from the Donation Account - Parks & Recreation Dept. d. Receive Donation - Police Reserves Fund e. Police School Liaison Service Agreement f. Receive Donation - Parks & Recreation Dept. g. Joint Powers Agreement for Dakota County Attorney to process asset seizure for cases involving the Dakota County Drug Task Force and Rosemount Police Department h. Professional Services Contract for Engineering and Landscape Architect Services - Greystone Park 6.a. ROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS AUGUST 1ST, 2016 Ayes: DeBettignies, Nelson, Droste, Weisensel, Demuth Nays: None. Motion carried. 6. g. Joint Powers Agreement for Dakota County Attorney to process asset seizure for cases involving the Dakota County Drug Task Force and Rosemount Police Department Council member Weisensel stated he pulled the wrong item. Motion by Weisensel. Second by DeBettignies. Motion to approve the Police Liaison Services Agreement between the City of Rosemount and School District No. 196 for the 2016 – 2017 school year. Ayes: DeBettignies, Nelson, Droste, Weisensel, Demuth Nays: None. Motion carried. PUBLIC HEARINGS OLD BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENTS Mayor Droste reviewed the calendar of events.
