REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS
AUGUST 24, 2016
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Facilities Task Force was held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room, 2875 145th
Street West, Rosemount. A tour of the Police Department and Public Works facilities preceded the meeting.
Chair Sharon Peterson called the meeting to order with Task Force members Brenda Rivera, Mark Deming, Josh Otis, Christina Scipioni, Staff Liaison Emmy Foster and Council Member Mark
DeBettignies were present.
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE AGENDA
None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by Peterson. Second by Deming.
Motion to approve the August 3, 2016 Facilities Task Force minutes.
Ayes: 7
Nays: 0. Absent: 7. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS
5.a. Task Force Prioritization
Foster will schedule tours for October 5: Fire Station 2, the Community Center, and the Steeple Center prior to the next meeting. Tours of City facilities will be completed in 2016.
Otis will schedule a tour of Inver Grove Heights City Facilities for the Task Force members.
DeBettignies will provide updates to the City Council on the Facilities Task Force quarterly or as needed.
Foster will work with Community Development Director Kim Lindquist to attend an upcoming Task Force meeting, preferably in November.

6.b. Next Meeting Date
The next meeting of the Facilities Task Force is scheduled for October 5, 2016 at approximately 7:30 p.m. (immediately following the tours) in the Steeple Center First Floor Conference
Room.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, it was moved by Peterson and seconded by Otis that the meeting be adjourned. The motion carried unanimously and the meeting was adjourned
at 8:15 p.m.
