EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
BACKGROUND
Mr Wendel has been on medical leave from his duties as firefighter since October 1, 2005 and is
requesting additional leave through March 29, 2006 According to the Fire Department Personnel Policy
"A medical leave of more than sixty (60) days requires city council approval" Medical documentation has
been received to warrant approval of this leave.
SUMMARY
Chief Aker requests approval of the extension of medical leave for Jeff Wendel.
