RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a Resolution approving an amendment to
Supervalu Inc. dba Cub Liquor Off-Sale Club Liquor License to expand the premises.
ISSUE
An Off-Sale Liquor License amendment request has been made by Supervalu Inc. dba Cub Liquor to
expand their premises at 3792 150th Street West. A public hearing is required for an amendment to a
liquor license.
The new space will be a total of 7606 square feet, which is almost double the current size. The entry door
will remain in the same location and they will be installing additional security cameras in the store. The
new store will have two registers with belts instead of the current counter layout. The store has also
applied for a tobacco license, which will be kept in a locked cabinet at one of the registers.
Staff recommends approval of a resolution approving an amendment to Supervalu Inc. dba Cub Liquor
Off-Sale Club Liquor License to expand the premises at 3792 150th Street West.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
SUPERVALU INC. DBA CUB LIQUOR OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE
WHEREAS, Supervalu dba Cub Liquor, 3792 150th Street West, Rosemount, submitted an
application to amend their off-sale liquor license to expand the permitted premises,
WHEREAS, after due notice, the City Council of Rosemount held a public hearing regarding the
license amendment,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city Council hereby approves the amendment to
the Off-Sale Liquor License to expand the permitted license area as shown in the floor plan attached
here-in.
ADOPTED this 14th day of November, 2016, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
