RECOMMENDED ACTION: Appoint Mary Riley to the Port Authority
ACTION:
ISSUE
Presently the Port Authority is comprised of four council members and three citizens at large.
The Council member terms run concurrent to the Port Authority terms. With the last election,
there is a change in two of the Council members, requiring a change in two of the Port
Authority member appointments. The change in Mike Baxter's status created a vacant
citizen's position. The Mayor is recommending the appointment of Mary Riley to fill the
remainder of Mike Baxter's citizen position which will expire on 12/31/2008.
