ISSUE
Set a date for a City Council work session to establish plans for Fire Station #2 on March 23,
2005 at 6:30 p.m.
BACKGROUND
Council is aware of land purchased on the eastern part of Rosemount to build a satellite fire
station. AMCON Construction Management and Vetter Johnson Architects have been
obtained to direct the project.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends holding a special work session to establish the planning process for the
architectural and building phases of the project.
Staff also recommends presentations for the Fire Station at "Open House" meetings on
March 29 and March 31 at 6:30 p.m. These meetings will be published to encourage
resident participation.

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and City Council Members of the City of Rosemount will
hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at City Hall, 2875 145 Street West,
Rosemount, Minnesota, beginning at 6 30 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to determine the planning process for architectural and building
phases of Fire Station #2.
