RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to set a Public Hearing for liquor licens6 fee
changes on March 15, 2005, at the regular City Council meeting
ACTION:
ISSUE
Set a date for a public hearing which is required by our City Code to change the liquor license
fees
BACKGROUND
The City reviewed all license fees in December, 2004 with an update to the annual Fee
Resolution Sprmgsted and Associates reviewed all permit and license fees and
recommended increases to the liquor fees in the following categories
Off -Sale 3 2% Malt $210 was $160
Temporary On -Sale Intoxicating $170 was $120
Temporary On -Sale 3 2% Malt $150 was $100
Bottle Club $140 was 90
Amending Existing Liquor Lic $175 was $130
A thirty -day written notice is required to all existing liquor establishments in Rosemount to
enable them to respond to the fee changes
SUMMARY
Staff recommends holding a Public Hearing to make public the liquor license fees and allow
any Rosemount establishments to respond to the changes The date of March 15 would
allow time for thirty days written and published notice.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount will
conduct a public hearing at 7 30 p in on Tuesday, March 15, 2005, in the Council
Chambers at City Hall, 2$75 145 Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota.
This public hearing is being held to take comments on increases for the following Liquor
License fees.
