ACTION:
ISSUE:
The construction of the Bloomfield Park was started in the summer of 2002 and completed
in the fall of 2004 Staff recently received the first and only change order for the protect
BACKGROUND:
The change order includes the addition of $6,488 26 to the original price of the contact
amount of $510,872 00 for a new total of $517,360 26
The work included under Change Order #1 was for an upgraded irrigation control /security
box, additional irrigation, change out of irrigation controller, excavation of the playground
area, wiring changes to irrigation pump, and installation of drain the drains The change order
also included a deduction for the painting of the hockey rink
All work done was either at the request of or agreed upon by the contractor and City staff
SUMMARY
Staff is recommending the City Council approve Change Order 1 for the Bloomfield Park
