RECOMMENDED ACTION: Appoint Mike Baxter and Phil Sterner to the Port Authority with
terms to run simultaneously with their Council terms.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION
ISSUE
Presently the Port Authority is comprised of four council members and three citizens at large.
The Council member terms run concurrent to the Port Authority terms. With the last election,
there is a change in two of the Council members, requiring a change in two of the Port
Authority member appointments. It is requested that the Council formally approve
appointment of Mike Baxter and Phil Sterner to the Port Authority to fill the current council
vacancies This will leave one citizen representative vacancy yet to be filled on the Port
Authority.
