ATTACHMENTS: Land Surveyor's Certificate of Correction to Plat, Location map, Meadows of Bloomfield APPROVED BY: Plat reduction RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to authorize the execution of the Certificate of Correction to Plat. ACTION: ISSUE Martin Weber of Westwood Professional Services, the Engineering Consultant for Centex Homes, prepared the plat for Meadows of Bloomfield The plat was approved by the City and filed for recording at Dakota County on September 22, 2004 In the process of checking the plat an error was found concerning the eastern boundary line of the plat The attached certificate acknowledges the error and allows for the needed correction to the mylar In essence, the indicated dimension is five feet longer than the scaled dimension Staff has verified that the drawing as scaled equals the correct dimension, rather that the labeled dimension which is 5 feet longer The dimension change resulting from the authorization of the Certificate of Correction will not cause any new deficiencies in the development requiring new variances. If Centex determines that new variances are needed, they would be required to go through the PUD amendment procedure RECOMMENDATION Approval to authorize the execution of the Certificate of Correction to Plat.
