ACTION:
BACKGROUND:
On February 1, 2005 the Rosemount City Council received the Feasibility Report and
set the public hearing for County Road 38 (Bonaire Path)(CR 38) Street and Utility
Improvements, City Project #393
This project consists of reconstructing County Road 38 (CR 38) (Bonaire Path) from
Trunk Highway 3 (TH 3) east to the easterly tract line of the Harmony, formerly known
as Brockway, residential subdivision The proposed improvements include the
reconstruction of CR 38 to an urban section with curb and gutter and the addition of
turn lanes at Trunk Highway 3 and Brockway Avenue Also included is the construction
of sanitary sewer trunk and lateral mains, trunk and lateral watermain, storm sewer and
a bituminous path along the south side of the road along the entire length of the project
The total estimated project cost is $1,577,300 The project is proposed to be funded as
follows

It is proposed that construction will begin in 2005. The project construction will be
completed, including all restoration items in 2006.

Staff recommends Council adoption of a resolution ordering the project and authorizing
the preparation of plans and specifications the County Road 38 (Bonaire Path) Trunk
Highway 3 to East Tract Line of Reflections Street and Utility Improvements, City
Project #393

RESOLUTION 2005
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
COUNTY ROAD 38 (BONAIRE PATH) (TRUNK HIGHWAY 3 TO
EAST TRACT LINE OF REFLECTIONS) STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #393
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and accepted the Feasibility Report on February 1,
2005 for City Project #393, and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on February 15, 2005
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
orders the improvements of the County Road 38 (Bonaire Path) (Trunk Highway 3 to East Tract
Line of Reflections) Street and Utility Improvements City Project #393.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount orders the
preparation of plans and specifications for said improvements of City Project No 393
ADOPTED this 15th day of February, 2005.
