EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
BACKGROUND:
This item is on the agenda to request Payment #10 and final to Ryan Contracting Company for
Bloomfield 7 City Project #384. This project included the construction of streets, sanitary
sewer, water main, storm sewer, and sidewalks within the Bloomfield 7 Addition
The final construction amount of $672,315.43 is 2.5% below the contract amount of $689,409.80.
SUMMARY:
Staff recommends that Council approve Payment #10 and final for the project and accept the project for
perpetual maintenance subject to the following conditions.
1. Satisfactory showing that the contractor has comphed with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes
290.92 requiring withholding state income tax.
2. Evidence in the form of an affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of the
contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured.
3. Consent of Surety to Final Payment certification from the contractor's surety.
4. Two -year maintenance bond.

in the amount of $21,138.25. We recommend final payment subject to receipt of the following
items:
1. Satisfactory showing that the contractor has complied with the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax.
2. Evidence in the form of an affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of
the contract have been fully paid or satisfactonly secured.
3. Consent of Surety to Final Payment certification from the contractor's surety.
4. Two -year maintenance bond.
