CITY COUNCIL
City Council Meeting Date: November 1, 2005
ISSUE
Remove equipment from our inventory that has been updated or replaced.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
BACKGROUND
This is a request for Council to declare the above hsted items as surplus equipment. The City will be
disposing of all of the PC's through a non -profit organization that recycles old equipment for schools
This is an organization that I discovered that takes all of the equipment for no cost and salvages what is
usable and disposes of the rest at their cost I believe that it is a win-win situation for us and for them.
The Police Department will be disposing of all of then equipment
The City's fixed asset tag numbers for the items are included with the attached list.
SUMMARY
Recommend the above motion to approve the hsted items as surplus equipment.
