CITY OF ROSEMOUNT
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION
ISSUE
To determine the availability of City Council Members to attend two proposed meetings
and prepare proper meeting nonce.
BACKGROUND
City Council and department directors met on April 22 and April 23 to discuss strategies
and visions for the City. Further discussion is requested to set priorities and give direction
to staff.
Beginning discussions are necessary to start the 2006 budget process. This is connected to
the goals and priorities as staff sets up expenditures for next year and the ten -year capital
improvement projects.
SUMMARY
Staff proposes two special meetings to discuss Council priorities:
Monday, May 23, 2005 at 6:00 p m. held at the Rosemount Community Center, Rm 210
Focus: Council goals and visions
Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. held at the City Hall, Council Chambers
Focus: 2006 budget

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETINGS
City Council Work Sessions
ADMINISTRATION
Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and City Council Members of the City of Rosemount will hold
two special work sessions.
On Monday, May 23, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. a special work session will be held at the Rosemount
Community Center, 13885 South Robert Trail, Room 210 for the purpose of discussing Council
goals and visions.
On Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. a special work session will be held at the Rosemount
City Hall, Council Chambers for the purpose of discussing the 2006 City Budget.
Council work sessions are held for Council and staff to discuss items for future Council agendas.
Comments from the public in this forum are not generally solicited.
