CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: May 17, 2005
ISSUE:
Receive bids and award contract for the 2005 Pavement Management Improvements.
BACKGROUND:
On Friday, May 13, 2005, bids for the referenced project will be received and read
aloud publicly. The project includes the reconstruction, rehabilitation and overlay of City
streets and utility improvements located on 130 Street West from Trunk Highway 3 to
the east, Dodd Court in its entirety, the subdivisions bordered by 145 Street on the
north, Chippendale Avenue on the west, CSAH 42 on the south and Canada Avenue on
the east side. Also, depending on available funding, the additions of Connemara Trail
from Diamond Path to Shannon Parkway and Darling Path from Danville Avenue to the
west.
Costs associated with the project will be funded by special assessments, utility funds
and street C.I.P. funds.
SUMMARY:
The tabulation of bidders, resolution, letter of recommendation to award, and an
additional summary from the City Engineer will be provided at the Council meeting.
