RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to appoint the following individual to the
Environmental & Sustainability Task Force;
• Karen Malkowski
SUMMARY
During Council Goal Setting in January, it was suggested that the City create two new task forces to
address city issues. One such task was the Environmental & Sustainability Task Force. Bylaws for
this committee were adopted in May, and allow for up to 7 members. There are currently 5 seats
filled by residents, in addition to the current Council liaison, Council member Demuth.
The City recently received a new applicant who was interviewed by Council last week, Karen
Malkowski.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends appointment of Ms. Malkowsi to the Environmental & Sustainability Task Force.
