EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
Consideration of lawful gambling activity at the AMF City Limits Lanes
BACKGROUND
Minnesota Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement control charitable gambling. Rosemount City Council's
approval is necessary for Communities Chanties of Minnesota to proceed with their applications to the State.
This would allow charitable gambling pull -tabs at AMF City Limits 1 anes, 15400 South Robert Trail.
A premises permit term is for two years. The charitable gambling ordinance requires 80% of the annual lawful
purpose expenditures within the city's trade area. The attached donation list represents 85% of net profits in the
Rosemount area and totals $16,470.70. Mark Healy, from Community Charities of Minnesota continues to be
the gambling manager.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends approval of this lawful gambling license renewal.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Dakota County, Minnesota, hereby approves the Lawful G-ambhng Premises Permit renewal
application submitted by the Community Chanties of Minnesota, License number B02650, to
conduct charitable gambling m Rosemount at the AMF City Limits Lanes, 15400 South Robert
Trail, for the period of April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2008.
