Approve the purchase.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION
PROPOSAL
Staff is requesting approval to purchase a new Ford Taurus from the State Bid The cost is
$11,946.30. This is an unbudgeted item because during last year's budget process there
were three inspectors with one summer intern. The intern position was ultimately modified to
become a regular status position With the increase in full -time inspectors to four, four
vehicles are needed to accomplish required tasks
