ACTION: City Council Meeting Date: June 7, 2005 CITY OF ROSEMOUNT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION ISSUE As part of the City's lease agreement with St. Joseph's Church /School the City is required to make three improvements to the "Gathenng Area" so that it can be used by St Joseph's School for a kindergarten classroom. The improvements to be made to the "Gathering Area" include adding a wall to separate the Church from the "Gathering Area adding a bathroom and adding two sinks. BACKGROUND The lease agreement was approved by the City Council in December of 2004. There is not a line item in the 2005 budget for the proposed improvements. The design work is done and the plans are being sent to contractors to receive quotes as per the City's purchasing policy. The lease agreement sets the deadline for completing the project as July 31, 2005. SUMMARY Staff is requesting the City Council to consider approving spending up to $20,000 on the required improvements to the "Gathering Area
