EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
Council is being asked to consider the re- designation of previous years' encumbered funds to more
appropnate uses. This issue has previously been discussed at a Council Work Session.
The specific request is to re- designate $5000 encumbered for Field Based Reporting software to be used to
purchase Taser X26 equipment and training supplies.

RESOLUTION NO. 05-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RE- DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN PRIOR
YEAR'S ENCUMBRANCES
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to re- designate certain items
from previous year's encumbrances to more appropnate uses in the Equipment Capital
Improvement Program, which is summarized as follows:
1) Equipment Capital Improvement Program items that total an amount of
$5000 currently designated for pohce software to the purchase of Tasers and
Taser training supplies,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Rosemount hereby approves the re- designation of the above listed encumbrance items.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Rosemount this 19 day of July, 2005.
