BACKGROUND
CITY COUNCIL
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On August 17, 2004, City Council authorized the preparation of a Feasibility Report to address
development related infrastructure costs attributed to Evermoor Glendalough 5 —10 Additions Street
and Utility Construction project. Evermoot Glendalough 5 Addition has been designated as City Project
No. 389. On January 18, 2005, City Council received the Feasibility Report and on May 3, 2005
authonzed the preparation of the plans and specifications for Glendalough 6 Addition Street and Ut
Improvement Project
The Glendalough 6 Addition Street and Utility Improvement Project consists of the construction of
streets and utilities to serve 42 lots within the Glendalough 6` Addition of the Evermoor development.
The project area is located to the east of Evermoor Parkway and north of Connemara Trail. The
developer, Lundgren Brothers, will fund all costs associated with the project.
A copy of the plans and specifications is on file in the Engineering Department for review.
SUMMARY
Staff requests Council adopt a resolution receiving the plans and specifications and authorizing the
advertisement of bids for Glendalough 6 Addition, City Project #395.

RESOLUTION 2005
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR
GLENDALOUGH 6 ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #395
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount have ordered the preparation of plans and
specifications for Glendalough 6th Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #395 and such plans
and specifications have been presented to this Council for approval:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota:
1 Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper and the Construction
Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans
and specifications for City Project #395.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said pubhcations at least once not less than three (3)
weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state the bids will be
publicly opened on August 12 at 10.00 o'clock a.m. at the Rosemount City Hall in said City and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five (5 percent of the
amount of such bid.
ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 2005.
